Why are teenagers these days retarded?

I’m not saying I’m the most intelligent person, in fact I’m relatively average but I felt so much rage and pain in my heart after talking to this kid. We were discussing food and nutrition, and he sent me a comparison photo of best ways of water consumption on two different AI’s, one being chatGPT and the other being something called primalGPT and I almost laughed out loud while what was shown on primalGPT was mostly correct, I told him to not use AI since it’s not the most trustworthy and no joke, this kid says, “Ai is never wrong.” He was completely serious too, and when I explained how no, AI is not reliable and he should instead do research using articles made by trusted professionals in their area, he just completely ignored it. I mean how more idiotic can you get? Why can’t these people freely think for themselves?? He’s 14 and has the brain function of a 7 year old. He has to ask fucking primalGPT on how to consume water more efficiently, how stupid can you be?

A lot of if has to do with the rise of more automation, simpler ui’s etc

Like for example, I remember back in college, a comp sci professor was telling us how the freshman sucked at using file systems. That’s cause they’re used to interacting with apps instead of manually going through files, directories etc

And yeah same thing with ai, instead of learning how to construct search phrases and use google, some younglings are just gonna rely on ai and won’t develop more intellectual capacity unfortunately
