It’s likely because of forum hosts not wanting the forums they’re hosting to glorify violence. It could lead to them not hosting us any longer. That’s what I would say if this was .org, but this is .com where the leadership differs. Dean doesn’t want any toxicity here, and glorifying killers is nothing short of toxic.

Ohhh, I know that forum. It’s where Slenderman originated. Back then, in the early 2010s, you needed to have a subscription before you could use the forum. XD

Almost every forum that's lasted longer than 5 years bans commiting murder/mass shooting talk, jokes or not.

If users have made that joke and didn't get warned it's because a moderator probably didn't see it, not because it's allowed.
