Dating is stressful, talking to people is stressful, frequenting crowded places is particularly dysphoric and blah, blah, blahDepression is the issue I think, I've the same I don't want to achieve anything big nor do I care about anything tbh I just want to be alone and rot

Are you autistic? If yes, that’s not the problemnah I think ascension denied is right
yes . elab? Are you autistic? If yes, that’s not the problem
But that’s kind of the point. Stress and emotion, even the negative ones, are signs that we’re alive, sorry, as corny as that sounds. Avoiding all of that might feel safer, but it’s also a way of flattening reality until nothing really moves you at all. The cost of numbness is higher than the price of discomfort.Dating is stressful, talking to people is stressful, frequenting crowded places is particularly dysphoric and blah, blah, blah
I’m easily overloaded when exposed to socialising and I isolate myself for a day or a couple of days when under a lot of stress (i.e. relatively often).yes . elab?

I understand. But even if you shut the world out, it doesn’t stop existing. You can either let it pass over you, or step into it and actually feel something even if it hurts. The choice is yours, no pressure.I’m not like you
I already do thatI understand. But even if you shut the world out, it doesn’t stop existing. You can either let it pass over you, or step into it and actually feel something even if it hurts. The choice is yours, no pressure.
Youve become beaten down by the world for a long time, some time ago you used to be sensitive and looking for connection but anxiety related to certain situations in your life that were out of your control caused you to spiral, you instead chose to associate these uncontrollable situations to some intrinsic fault within yourself (aka your looks) which caused you to find comfort in depression to the point where you lost the ability to realize youre even depressed in the first place, but your current state is a defensive mechanism not a growth one, and now you are becoming uncomfortable with your own stagnancyim too nonchalant for this shit

A lot of things but heres a non clinical breakdown
hmmmA lot of things but heres a non clinical breakdown
Humans require bonding to have natural brain development, bonding is a need and not a want, even though people who went through neglect try to gaslight themselves into believing its a want because they are deep down ashamed of needing it as they didnt receive it properly
When you dont have this need, your brain prioritizes survival, is in a state of stress, overtime leads to difficulty connecting with others, difficulty having a sense of identity, difficulty identifying your own emotions, etc
Being nonchalant said a lot
