They look very much like Pakistanis in general, they look very much like South Asians.
mmm yes I'm sure the chechens look a ton like punjabis bro
u know we know what indians look like, rite?

they're slavs with arabic/steppe admixture
Arabic and steppe admixture are not interchangeable.
Is that what you meant with the ‘/‘?
Hope not.

They look nothing like South Asians. They look like Caucasus Hunter-Gatherers probably.

But bro.
They literally have steppe admixture.
His point has some merit

They do have Steppe admixture, but having Steppe admixture doesn’t mean much. Even southern Indian Dravidians have Steppe. Afghans and Chechens aren’t related, though some might be distantly related to each other since some share the same Y-DNA haplogroup albeit with different subclades specific to their ethnic groups. And it depends on what kind of Afghan, there’s many ethnic groups living there.

But I’m talking ancestors from thousands of years ago. One thing that’s the same is both ethnic groups have a very honor-based culture, and they’re both Islamic.

Almost all South Asians have Steppe, but the one ethnic group with the most Steppe are the Ror people, and they said to have originated in Sindh, Pakistan (southeastern Pakistan). They have even more Steppe admixture than Afghans, up to 45-50%, similar to Northern Europeans.

This is a Ror individual.

From my research into the Indus Valley civilization and its decline, said individual is steppe + Iranian farmer. So if we believe he is 40% steppe the other major component should be Iranian farmer (indus valley proxy with a little ASI)
The point stands since there’s a shared steppe identity.
Sorry if I misunderstood what you said.
Also, you’re completely correct that Chechans and afghans shouldn’t be related since Chechans (as far as I know) have high CHG (caucusus hunter gatherer), which is by far the deepest layer, and has been native to the same location since 15 kya
Good insights btw.

Thanks bhaijaan. The problem with Indus Valley Civilization is that we don’t have remains from the core Indus Valley Civilization region, which is the Indus Valley that’s located in modern-day Pakistan.

We only have remains from Gonur, Turkmenistan and Shahr-e-Sokhta, Iran. We call these the IVCp individuals, with p standing for Periphery.

We do have remains from a 4,500 year old woman in Haryana (a place where the Ror now live in), but if you look at the map, it’s at the easternmost fringes of the Indus Valley Civilization. We aren’t sure if it was a multi-ethnic society or not, but I would imagine that the people living in the Indus Valley itself would likely have different genetics.

It’s true that there’s a shared Steppe ancestry, but usually when we speak of relatedness, we talk about recent ancestry and not ancient ancestry. Because then at what point do we stop? But in a way you’re alright right. After all, everyone is related to each other.

Speaking of the 4,500 IVC woman in Haryana, we have the same maternal haplogroup but different subclades, so her and my shared ancestor lived around 30,000 or 35,000 years ago. Her mtDNA is U2b2, and while mine isn’t U2b2, it’s another subclade of the South Asian-specific U2 lineages (U2a, U2b and U2c are South Asian-specific, U2d is a sister subclade of U2c but it’s Central Asian and U2e is European).

‘She’ is an insecure femcel who, only lives by ragebaiting others…
She’s insecure, so she denies it…
I thought it was a guy, my bad. I don’t know why she’s insecure of being Afghan. One of my good friends is Afghan, he’s Tajik.

That’s good. What kind of Afghan are you? Are you the Punjabi-hating kind? 💔 because I’m a tor panjapai dalkhor straight from the slums of Rawalpindi.

Is that so brother?
I remember reading something about there indeed being direct DNA. With the conclusions being steppe only came later.
Well, you seem more knowledgeable so I concede.

These north caucasian ethnicities are the ones I get guessed as the most beside slavic and turkish for some reason

Op you just showed an avar and lezgin

Chechens get their steppe from a different group then Afghans, it is possible the have trace iranic from scythians and alans but it's not the major

No, they don’t. They have Steppe in their 30s, same with Iranic populations. Ror have up to 45-50% Steppe. Closely followed by Haryana Jats and UP Jats (not to be confused with Punjabi Jatts).

Which source would that be? The trace Iranic might be from the Persians. Didn’t the ancient Persians rule the Caucasus area as well?

Btw, Chechens also have East Asian ancestry. I found out yesterday, where do you think it would be from? It’s usually no more than 5%. Interestingly enough, Afghans also have similar levels of East Asian ancestry.

Pamirs also have similar steppe to rors

did you know apu apustaja is finnish?

Well they're also in south Asia no ? I thought some where in pakistan
Pamiris are Central Asians and they live in Tajikistan.

Brootal. Not even Chechen can escape being pajeet-fied (linked to jeetdom) somehow.

At this point even Norwegians are jeets.
