Why do girls call random neurodivergent kids their “besties”

I my self am nurodivergant with adhd and autism and I used to not speak to anyone used to keep to my self up until 3 years ago when I looked better and girls would embarrass me and be little me by saying some bs like “your my bestie right??” Essentially embarrassing me in front of the whole class and people laughing they may not do this to me anymore but I see them do it to other kids putting them down it doesn’t make sense
