Best thing to do with these people is to not bother, they're superficial attention seekers and couldn't care less about the music and its meaning. Actually find some people who like the music regardless of their appearances and share your love for the genre.
I avoid her when I can but she does come up to me quite a lot. I usually just say I'm late somewhere especially since everything that comes out of her mouth is just a pity story or something that almost sounds ironic
