Why do I look bad with false eyelashes but not so bad with mascara? The photo of the wavy hair shows the false eyelash extensions.

user error, align to the center, starting around where your natural lashes start. It will look less abrupt that way.

but yeah don't apply the longest lashes ever to only the outer half of your eye, it will look bad no matter wht your face looks like

maybe cause ur expression... or that ur lashes are really thin/putting them on wrong/wrong type of eyelashes for ur eye
