So here’s something I’ve been thinking about: why is it that when someone becomes famous, they suddenly seem way more attractive than before? Even if they were average (or below average) looking before, fame just changes the way people see them.
1 – The “Fame Aura”
When a person is in the spotlight—actor, singer, YouTuber, whatever—they carry this aura around them. Fame itself adds value, and that extra layer makes them appear more attractive.
2 – Scarcity Effect
Not everyone is famous. That rarity alone makes someone stand out. Just like rare items automatically feel more desirable, the same principle applies to people.
3 – Collective Attention
When you see tons of people following or talking about someone, your brain subconsciously assumes “there must be something special about this person.” That social proof boosts their perceived attractiveness.
