Why do people glorify softmaxxing?

Softmaxxing wont ascend you, it'll just improve you in your specific rating already (e.g: from lltn to hltn) and in RARE cases it'll ascend you one tier (e.g: from ltn to mtn). To be an htn you have to have htn ratios. It isn't possible to change your ratios unless you hardmaxx, so why do people treat softmaxxing as if its a saviour?

Ratio-wise, no. Sure it'll make you more attractive but in the end your ratios are your true potential. Someone with ltn ratios means that his maximum potential is ltn.

Contrary to belief, most people on here are already looksmaxxed and are looking to help others. That's why the majority of active users on here are htn+. Unlike .org where all the larps and newgens reside .com is a better community overall.
