my thought is that a significant height difference is something many women find naturally attractive. women who are around 5'8" are already aware that theyre considered "too tall" by a lot of men, which makes it much harder for them to find that dramatic height gap thats often idealized. instead of fixating on the idea of being much shorter than their partner, many of them adjust their expectations
