why do u guys want to leave the forum so bad

unironically, i agree. the reason the forum is so unstable is because the users have this mindset that the goal is to eventually leave. they act like the forum is detrimental to your wellbeing. its legit not that deep. sure, online social platforms arent healthy, but its no different from using something like tiktok. i think people should view the forum like they view other social media apps. like, yes i know i will not use tiktok for the rest of my life, but i dont have a conscious goal to leave it. ill just slowly drift away from it when it doesnt interest me anymore. ppl should view the forum the same way

though, you'd definitely be better off without this, i am sure. rotting on social media in general is pretty harmful and the forum is one of those things.
 
Life isn’t like these forums whatsoever. And rotting after a while feels frustrating. To me at least. I want to get shit done

i said all of that in my previous reply. is my entire point not that it is equal to rotting on any other platform? yes, we would be better off without the forum. we would also be better off without discord, snapchat, tiktok, instagram. ideally the best option would be to not use any of those, but no one does that right? do you think the people who leave also delete their other forms of entertainment?

I think it is more personal and melancholic than using any other form of social media though, I do not know about equal.

im not saying they are all equal in terms of how they are designed and what they are used for. for example, tiktok is the most unhealthy platform normies use. does that make people on tiktok constantly talk about leaving? do they ever? no, they view it as the same as all their other apps.

it's not really equal to platforms like tiktok and insta. it's different in content format, discussion, purpose, and community structure. someone that rots on org daily won't be like an avid snapchat user

At this point, the typical users reels and tik tok algorithims are probably all blackpilled and lookism content.

you are misunderstanding my use of the word “equal”. obviously each social media app is different, try comparing twitter and snapchat. are they on the same level? they all have their pros and cons. snapchat destroys our generations ability to have meaningful conversation and puts meaningless interaction on a pedestal tiktok absolutely nerfs your attention span like no other and is also designed to be addictive. still, people that leave this forum will continue using them. you cannot pick and choose which one you deem as harmful, in the end they all are

the issue is this isnt even considered a blackpilled forum at this point. most users dont even looksmaxx. it is just a form of entertainment and interaction

Hmm I have many opinions on why this forum is good and bad. It’s good in the sense that users can connect with each other but very bad in terms of rating others, they may have a lower self esteem because of it
