everyone wants to look good. especially with social media, it feels like ur lagging behind if you aren't very attractive: and obviously being ugly is usually detrimental to ur confidence, including for girls. regardless of ur gender being gl is always an advantage and something other people will automatically admire you for

people on here do overestimate how valuable smv is to women imo. men value hookups, in their minds it increases their societal value and it brings tons of satisfaction. women value that a lot less: women are seen as devalued for having casual sex, its less pleasurable, and its just way unsafer for women due to both pregnancy and power differences. a lot of men are willing to fuck below their league, doesn't mean they want to date below it. ltb's aren't walking through society with men falling at their feet like ppl act like they do on .org

ever come to think they can just be interested in the niche? not everything has to have some malicious intent behind it or an ulterior motive. while i can agree a good amount indulge in it to larp or because its a male dominated space, some people actually want to look better.

the claim that "women dont need to looksmax because they have inf smv" is purely retarted because attractiveness still affects how women are perceived, the opportunities they receive, and the dating outcomes they have. while women and men may face different pressures and dynamics, that doesn't mean women have no reason to care about improving their looks.
