Might be EDTA or potassium benzoate reacting with the stomach acid

sprite zero gives me no problems and I enjoy zero sugar energy drinks

It's a store brand exclusive in France but i caught myself liking one better than coca and pepsi, less sweet, less acidic but feels more hydrating
