What's the reasoning behind this, because I know some of you cuckolds out there are inhibiting yourself from just letting go and doing this.

It's likely a natural act, whenever you're at a heightened state. And you feel good, you wanna slam a desk as hard as you can or hit your fingers on it. Ritualistically as well.
