The ratio of face width to height is a facial ratio that can predict success in fights and dating.
This ratio is calculated by dividing the width of the middle part of the face by its length.
Someone with a very wide face would have a high facial width-to-height ratio, while someone with a long horse face would have a very low facial width-to-height ratio.
Many studies have shown that people with a higher face width-to-height ratio are much more successful in dating and even in fights.
As in a 2013 study, in which researchers collected the facial proportions of 146 different UFC fighters, after careful analysis it was found that the higher the ratio between the width and height of a fighter's face, the more likely he or she was to win fights.
In fact in physiognomy these faces predict how much aggression and testosterone a man has.
In another 2014 study, some researchers used a speed dating format to show that women are more attracted to men with a high FWHR for short-term relationships
