No guarantee that we'll live twice, so if this is the one and only time that I'll ever be alive, and the only thing that awaits me is just nothingness for eternity, then why tf would I want to make it any shorter? No reason to rush to face eternity. This life won't even be a dot if we plot it out in a graph (Lifespan vs. Infinity)...

Even with all the daily bs, this short burst of consciousness will be infinitely more memorable than just nothing.

the more you live the more cringy moments you'll possess to look back at during afterlife
I can't imagine not having any cringy moment that randomly flashes in my mind.
Sure I fucking hate them, but at the same time I'm kinda glad I was fortunate enough to experience anything at all.
I'm also the type of person who feels incomplete if he/she has experience smth. As in, if I could remove pain completely from my life, I won't since I've known what pain is; I'll simply feel incomplete without it. I'm far from a masochist tho.

that is because you crave stress aka dopamine aka anti-quietude

once you learn to let go of your lizard brain you'll be content with just staying still like a tree
