lemme know
hedonism essentially the pursuit and prioritisation of pleasure as the highest good. a hedonistic person will mainly judge life on how much enjoyment or comfort they can gain. religious ppl view it as bad as it takes away from a religious focus. instead of focusing on God and spirituality, hedonists focus more on fulfilling their desires as its the easiest form of pleasure which can result in lust and greed.

athiests also may view hedonism as bad as it is commonly associated with materialistic fulfillment such as indulging in money, drugs, etc. this is seen as problematic because this stuff is often temporary which means u will constantly chase new forms of satisfaction without developing long-term happiness or fulfilment.

hedonism can also be seen as selfish as someone would only care about their own pleasure and avoid things that may give them discomfort. For example cheating or something.
