Okay, so I looked into a reverse mirror where it shows your true symmetry, the side I sleep on is significantly more developed in bone (I'm currently in puberty) while the side I don't sleep on is weaker. My jaw is squarer, my zygos are bigger and even my eyes look more masculine. If I can fix this, I genuinely believe its not over for me.

U can try chewing on your lesser developed side or using the eye more, but then again I’m not sure if those are proven to help

U can always try out that mastic gum bullshit and chew on ur other side. I hear it really flares out ur masseters

Correct me if im wrong, but if a normal mirror displays an unflipped image, a reverse mirror would show an inverted one?
if so, don't we all look weird to ourselves when we view an inverted version of ourselves?
If you stare at a photo of a celebrity for a minute, then invert the image, it will look weird at first until your eyes adjust to it. But since you've seen your face many times in the mirror, it would probably take a little bit for an inverted image of yourself to look right to you.

mmm, yes but wouldn't that apply to people you just randomly see. I need to look attractive at first sight, also its EXTREMELY noticeable. I looked into my regular mirror and then saw it flipped and lost hope.

Like @Almighty Sigma Wolf said, you may pick complexes due to the fact you aren’t used to see your face in an inverted mirror. If you’re really that noticeably asymmetrical, try to see an orthodontist ASAP to make sure it isn’t a jaw imbalance.
i did, dude literally said it was a upper jaw imbalance (maxilla) but immediately only said oral surgery and mentioned about how surgeons work in millimeters and my mom said no with the most heated fucking face ever.

Ouch, sorry bud there’s not much you can do :sadge:

@Blackpillirony thinking about it though I think he was saying my maxilla was imbalanced in height, not width. So i think im talking about a seperate issue idk.

like uh one side goes up more then the other, which is slightly noticeable. I just mainly want to focus on my zygo and jaw asymmetry in promience though.

if I don't get lucky, theres still hardmaxxing. I don't know what surgeries to get though
I don’t know that much about surgeries, if you pin down the problem it should be easy for you to figure out which surgery to take. I would recommend you to get surgery once you’re done with puberty tho

Like too short ?
The issue I want to fix and focusing on is that my zygo and my jaw on the right side of my face are significantly bigger. the one i mentioned with the ortho im pretty sure was just my maxilla is like uneven like its at a slant but still prominence and its uneveness is barely noticeable.

Hmm see if it improves after you’re done with puberty before considering surgery

Then check with your orthodontist about your jaw imbalance

looked again, Its too complicated for me to pinpoint it. I can't tell if its bone, muscle, soft tissue, or fat. The uneveness actually does look like it causes it a bit to look less prominent. Definitely probably only fixed by hardmaxxing or ortho, I'll mention more about it since I didn't get to talk a lot. I'll try to see if theres anything else from oral surgery that my mom will accept.

how you view yourself in a mirror is basically how you're viewed by others. you only look weird to yourself because you mostly see yourself mirrored, but if you mostly see yourself inverted (like how strangers see you) then you'd just look the same bro.
basically, if you really can't see it in the mirror, others probably can't see it either

I feel like thats just cope, I notice asymmetry in people's faces if I look at them after 6 seconds. My asymmetry makes me look disgusting thats the best I can describe it.

Since you’re still young an ortho can maybe (I am not really sure) make some adjustments that aren’t surgeries. I am not qualified to be taken seriously on this subject and I have no image.

that would be under the assumption that they can't see their asymmetry in the mirror.
for it to be cope, a mirror would have to convienently mask asymmetries. Which would be hard judging how they reflect light back at you, if you reflect an asymetrical face, you'd get an asymetrical image.
keep in mind, every face has asymmetries
but the point is bro, if you kept looking at yourself inverted, you'd eventually look normal again.
Or you could get surgery to correct the exagerated asymmetry you're percieving, so you can finally look normal instantly when you look at yourself inverted, until you inevitably view yourself in the mirror and see the same issue, just on the other side.
