i actually never claimed that japan wasnt a first-world country. they obviously are, but it doesnt mean they are currently successful if their own people are declining. population is the root of a country, and a government should be of the people. if those people are declining due to the quality of life, its NOT a successful one in my eyes. even when its first world. this shows that despite japan being a first world country, they are declining in terms of quality as a country. they may have been successful in the past (obviously), but if this keeps up, they will no longer be considered a successful country is what im saying.
