also depends on the grain quality but still, the main problem with leather bags is that they use a cotton/polyester lining which is so annoying to clean

and if you somehow stain leather (which i did) and it was white leather well its kinda over. but yeah good quality leather obviously takes alot of time to degrade
but still,
its hard to get actual leather, they mostly sell 'genuine' leather which is pretty bad quality but wtv

plus they dont even use silk that much anymore which is probably the best material
they even degraded cotton
