Why People With Tics Never Got Nothing Nice 2 Say

If I had to assume, it's like OCD and intrusive thoughts. People don't want to say them, and that's why their brain gets fixated on them and they get stuck in a loop of saying it. This is actually only a very small of % of people with Tourettes (it's called coprolalia). In most cases it's just physical, sounds (like clicking or whistling), stuttering or repeating more simple words.

When someone has an itch and they can't itch it, like maybe when you're driving your car and your ankle becomes itchy, the urge to itch it is amplified very heavily and it's mentally distracting for a few seconds. Eventually you override this desire because you have control over your body. People with Tourettes cannot satisfy this 'itch' unless they say it, and in all cases they can't control it. Their brain is hardwired differently.
