also like for ex w hollis his new album wasn’t bad at all i rlly did love it but subjectively 2 and boy are so much better

His latest album just wasn’t it :(. I think artists are hungrier before they achieve fame and money so they work harder to make meaningful art. Alternative outro is my favorite song from that album also u should check out witchcraft by lucki it’s so good

I mean I have both of them in that 50 for sure but there is a lot of variety in my top 50.
 
i think their fanbase and the shows kinda begin to wear them down, especially if you’re carrying the band or do everything yourself. the thing that once was an outlet for your passion and a way to reduce stress can become too much. and with that sometimes people lose their whimsy.

additionally, people change and obviously so will their creations. kind of like how if you look at tyler the creator and how he was originally singing about kidnapping girls to record unconsentual “activities” with and then he came out with the estate sale album and igor and stuff. it still sounds like him but hes grown and changed and he no longer wants to convey the same message cause hes not an edgy teen.

yea i have a couple of favorites but i miss his old flow soooo much more this new deep voice doesn’t hit for me as much
