I’m in pretty good shape overall like medium body fat, and I’ve even been leaner before. But my face just looks way bigger than it should compared to the rest of my body. It wasn’t like this when I was younger. Also one side is wider / lazier than the other which kinda makes me look deformed. It started a few years ago when I was messing around with mewing and probably doing it wrong, plus I used to clench my teeth a lot, so I’m wondering if that had something to do with it. I’ve stopped since then.

I drink enough water and take care of myself, so I’m just trying to figure out what could be causing it or if it's just genetics and I'm cooked.

Try 12-15% body fat, you will look even more leaner. After that, try debloating (mainly changing diet) to further reduce puffiness in your face.

Also, I think hairstyle is the main contributing factor, since it expands outward and makes your head look bigger.

Yeah I’ve been thinking of lowering carbs a bit as I eat too many atm, maybe it could reduce some puffiness.

And yeah the hairstyle was pretty messy in those pics, I’m growing it out right now, aiming for a ponytail eventually so it’s just in that awkward stage

Poor body composition, you look built because of fat placement but you have a higher bf percentage to muscle ratio than ideal meaning you’re likely around 15 percent and hold a good bit of fat in thr face genetically
