You will still be not old enough when they are teens. Having kids in late 30s or 40s means they will still be young when you are retired.

Having kids early means you are still not retired when they are financially secure. Will a weak 50 year old man play with his 11 year son? A 61 year old man with no job having 19 year old child in college. Just imagine.
