Most of the time this happens because they play a part that they can't keep.
I've noticed with friends that do this they are insecure about themselves so thus they never learn the comfortability of being themselves so they then act like themselves later on in the relationship that stems from said insecurity

nice guy act into real personality.

Are you sure they're sweet nice guys to begin with? If it happens often then it might be you're struggling to assess their personality properly.

She is somewhat neurotic (not even a bad trait since she's a woman), but no it's not an overreaction. People like that who chase unavailability are just drawn to what's not given to them, not because they are necessarily attracted to what it actually is, the feeling is disingenuous and they would lose all "attraction" once they obtain it.

Serious Chasing girls is the fun part

Personally when I chase girls thats when I am thrilled and enjoyed. When they are already secured idgaf anymore about them. It gives me an off tick. Like there is this girl who I was chasing for a bit and now then she kept messaging me being all lovey and dovey with me. Why is this? Is it the ancient predator in me who likes hunting the prey?
