will salicylic acid help to shrink my nose?

It can help to reduce the appearance of pores which can in turn make your nose less prominent but it won’t physically change the size. It is very good at the cleansing part tho. There are other things that are better/also work like topical retinoids and hydrocortisone

Use oil based cleansers (they can have salicylic acid in them) and clay masks if you have really oily skin . Mark as solution
