i've seen many moids bitching and complaining about false allegations. even irl! so many men swear they've never met a rapist and think that it's something rare/women must be making it up.

i think the issue at play in this debate is that men have a functionally skewed view of what r**e/assault really is. there's a mental image of a man in a ski mask holding a knife to a woman's throat and dragging her into a bush that comes to mind; i think moids are under the impression that the only form of r**e is where the girl is violently fighting back and in a complete state of danger/fear for her life. A lot of men can't come to terms with the fact that they or their friends are rapists for this very reason.

A lot of male dialogues on false allegations and r**e center around this idea, when in reality r**e is a lot more complex than that and exists on a spectrum not limited to overt violence and femicide.

winterfoid's real life anecdote: in my second speech class, a guy did a false allegation 'informative' essay. when my lecture was discussing, one man had a story to tell about how he had 'convinced' a resisting girl, but because she didn't actually fight him and gave up it was consensual. a few men were weirded out by this, but the majority agreed with him. all of the women were horrified, of course.

moids and foids! thoughts!
