humans may have drives for biological intimacy and companionship but the way were taught to interpret those drives is socially conditioned men are taught to pursue and prove themselves worthy of attention from women and women are taught to set hogh expectations for relationships and desirability all to say were all indoctrinated to some extent and it doesnt stop people from truly loving one another it does make it a lot less common though
