actual answer: i want everyone to like me, so when i find someone who doesnt rly care for me, it becomes a goal to try and change their mind. ill think i love them but i really just like the idea of being the one person that changes them, like im important to someone. this applies to non romantic relationships too.

attention makes everyone feel good in some way, doesnt it? its about a need for approval, whether its self approval or approval from others. whenever someone already cares about you, you dont need to work hard to get their affection. whenever someone doesnt give you the approval you crave, youll put in more energy and effort into them. this will lead to fixation which can easily be confused as love. thats why so many women “love” men who are cruel to them, they dont really love them they’re just hungry for approval.

being approval hungry isn't the norm and its a result of very subtle trauma, if you seriously need all these mens attentions in order to thrive its time to work on more than your face. The more HTB ratings you get from you klannie halo effect the less confidence youre going to end up with. If you notice, when you get attention for a long amount of time then you're randomly dropped that feels like shit and its called love bombing, The same logic applies to be compliment. Why would you want countless men to love bomb you and compliment bomb all at once? Why not be satisfied with your own company, your own rating, just yourself. Take it a step further and find someone who truly appreciates everthing past your physical apperance and uses compliments and attention sparingly, not boring you but not attention depriving you. Seeking attention from others because you need approval is predatory behavior whether or not its justified.

i agree with some of this. i think it would be an issue if a woman craved attention from just men in specific, ur right that is commonly a result of trauma. but like i said earlier, its not just about romantic relationships. i think ur misunderstanding what im saying, when i said i want everyone to like me i wasnt saying i wanted attention from several men, i value monogamous relationships. i was talking about my people pleasing tendencies, i often fixate on people who dislike me with the mindset that i can change their mind if i do everything they want. yes this affects my romantic relationships but i wasnt talking about only romantic relationships. and i do believe everyone subconsciously enjoys approval from others, to a certain extent. its not a negative thing, its human. it only becomes an issue when you value external approval over your own, which i admit i do. im not disagreeing with you saying i enjoy attention, i just disagree with the way you’re making it sound like thats inherently bad.
