Tbh in 2026, a woman who tell you that you should provide for her is a girl who not even have trad values.
She will just burn your life savings in useless shit (she'll not budgetting btw and expect you to work more hours) and expect you to do at least half the chores, if not more.

Nowadays women work and pay their own bills, earn their own money while still being loving partners, doing the chores etc

It's only acceptable to 100% provide and doing 100% of the chores if she's last weeks pregnant of your offsprings and birthed them, need to recover etc.
Everything else is just being used, and she will dump you the minute you can't provide for more than 1 day.

Also if a divorce happens, more than half of your shit will belongs to her ESPECIALLY if she never worked

this idea kinda turns into a commercialisation of biological roles, like one person provides money and the other provides babies, and tbh it doesn’t make sense…
however the problem today is that in most families today both parents work, but the woman ends up having kids AND doing most of the housework so she basically has a double workload compared to the man and that’s unfair.
but if a couple that decides not to have kids, then it doesn’t really make sense to think in terms of “the man provides for the woman”. in that case both should contribute equally financially and daily life
