Hey guys,
I want to offer some advice to people in general. Whether you take it or not is up to you—this is just a warning for some.
First off, I’m not saying don’t looksmax. In fact, you should looksmax because improving your appearance will benefit both your dating life and mental health.
However, there’s something many of you seem to overlook—money. Call it cope or not, but unless you’re a 7-8.5+ guy, you’ll still need to pay for dates, provide for a future family, and secure financial stability.
Love isn’t free, and women don’t love men unconditionally. Men can love women with nothing, but women don’t love men without something to offer.
Obviously, being handsome, rich, and well-endowed is the ideal combination, but let’s be realistic—the majority of you on this forum will never be GagaChad, GagaTyrone, or Chang.
For example, if you’re a 4.5 in looks, I 100% believe it’s still worth maxing out to reach a 6 or maybe even a 7 (even with surgery). But don’t forget—you need money to go along with it.
Ideally, you should be focusing on that's within your control.
1. Making money - it matters
2. Gymmaxxing - spend 2-4 years lifting
3. Dickmaxxing - yes you can gain 1-1.5 inch of length and 1 inch of girth
Looksmaxxing - you can maybe looksmax wit 1-2 points so still worth
If you’re below a 7, you realistically need every unfair advantage you can get.
Also, most of you aren’t even competing against Chads. In real life, I’ve only seen 2-4 true Chads, and they’re extremely rare. Even online, your real competition will be jacked/in-shape mid-tier normies, high-tier normies, and Chad-lites.
So, if you’re a 5-7 in looks, your competition isn’t the 8-9 guys—they’re too rare to be realistic.
Here’s how a 5, 6, or 7 on the looks scale would rank in terms of percentile and general population distribution among men:
Let me know if you want a more detailed breakdown!
Most of your competition is mid tier, high tier and chadlites

Here’s how a 5, 6, or 7 on the looks scale would rank in terms of percentile and general population distribution among men:
Estimated Percentile Rankings for Male Attractiveness
(Based on rough approximations from dating dynamics, social perception, and general attractiveness studies.)Looks Rating | Percentile (Where You Rank in the Population) | Description |
---|---|---|
1-2/10 | Bottom 5% | Very unattractive, severe facial asymmetry, bad skin, obesity, or extreme features. |
3/10 | Bottom 15% | Below average, noticeable flaws, overweight, poor grooming. |
4/10 | Bottom 35% | Slightly below average, but can improve with grooming, fitness, and style. |
5/10 | 40-60th percentile (average-looking guy, middle 50%) | Most men fall here—neither attractive nor ugly. Will need other factors (money, fitness, confidence) to stand out. |
6/10 | 70-80th percentile (above-average, solid Normie) | Better looking than most men, gets some attention from women but not "hot." Gym, grooming, and social skills help. |
7/10 | 85-90th percentile (Chad-lite, High-Tier Normie) | Undeniably attractive, gets consistent attention, but still below elite-tier Chads. Can date attractive women. |
8/10 | Top 95% (True Chad Level) | Model-tier or extremely well-groomed. Women show interest without effort. |
9-10/10 | Top 99-100% (Elite Chad/GigaChad Status) | Genetic lottery winners. Extremely rare—think male models, actors, top athletes. Women chase them. |
How Many Men Fit Each Look Category? (Out of 100 Random Men)
- 1-4/10 (Below Average to Ugly): ~35 men
- 5/10 (Average, Low-Tier Normie): ~20-25 men
- 6/10 (Above Average, Mid-Tier Normie): ~15-20 men
- 7/10 (Chad-lite, High-Tier Normie): ~10-15 men
- 8+/10 (Chad and Above): ~5 men or fewer
Summary
- If you’re a 5: You’re in the middle, about 40-60th percentile, meaning 40-60% of men are worse-looking than you, and 40-60% are better.
- If you’re a 6: You’re above 70% of men, meaning you’re clearly better looking than most but not quite elite.
- If you’re a 7: You’re in the top 10-15% of men—not a full Chad, but definitely someone who stands out and gets attention.
