Would I benefit from an upper bleph?

I am a 45 year old guy. I like my hooded eyes.
But, sometimes I think a mild / conservative upper bleph might help me look a bit better.

What do you guys think?

My insurance can cover it and its tempting, but, I am not sure.

Thanks a lot.

Mild
you should get canthoplasty instead

kinda
its to have positive canthal tilt, urs is negative, makes a big difference
I think mine might look negative cuz the hooding. In original pic, the outer corners of my eyes are hitten under the hooding. If I lift up the hoods I dont think I have a negative canthal tilt.

theyre neutral but cantho will help
Quit lying with all due respect his canthal tilt is 4.564 degrees positively tilted it's not neutral, quit suggesting canthoplasty to everyone

This is positive canthal tilt I just measured it

Ok thanks, yeah I kinda like my hoods.. are hooded eyes on men considered attractive than non hooded?
yes, but its good to be aware of fat vs just skin above the eye. if theres no fat and just loose skin, it can look bad as that is usually something that happens with old age. i dont see that in your face, but something to be aware of. especially with already hooded eyes.

Reminds me of the one guy who got fat injected into cheeks. Pretty dumb surgery unless upper eyelid fat is crazu
They do it because I guess the hooding can cause vision issues with time, I don't think people do it for cosmetics (unless you have the Asian hooded eyes) rather for eyesight

because his eyelids are sagging so its hard to tell
In cases like that you really shouldn't just say "negative" or "neutral", take the time to measure it yourself it's super easy

@blanquita444 https://looksmax.org/threads/is-positive-canthal-tilt-rare.797450/

Positive is the most common, I would be SHOCKED if studies have been done on this

Edit: I lied, there is a study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18471206/

Consistent with the findings of Stewart and reports of palpebral fissure obliquity by other authors we found the lateral canthi to be positioned slightly higher than the medial canthi. The observed height difference between the canthi equaled 1mm, which is consistent with the findings of Stewart, similar to the findings of Farkas et al., van den Bosch et al., Angel, and Wolff, but considerably less than the 4mm reported by Whitnall.

I don’t see the need for a bleph. Your hooding is fine
