Its called not wanting to be in a constant PTSD response when exposed to people who mog you, its a real thing btw it literally sets off the pain part of your brain so if you choose the second you're pretentious and choose pain for an arbitrary idea of enlightenment

I mean I understand the philosophy of choosing knowledge at all costs, but its personally hard to comprehend why someone would actively choose the more painful option since its kinda like less self-preservation
