The reason why we see people with such warped world views and general disdain for people of "opposition" (race wise, gender wise, politics wise, etc.) Is because we're exposed to more extremities. What's gonna go viral, the black guy wishing death upon all white people or the average black guy with average views?

You'd expect extremists to have done alot of research into these topics because their views are so extreme, but it's more likely the opposite can be said. They take things at surface level and are highly reactive people.
