The internet has marked genz and little kids. I genuinely think everybody who has had a phone when they were young is now fucked up in the head, like 99%. Seriously speaking when I was a kid nobody really cared about looks, sure I was left out and bullied for my looks but maybe if I didn’t discover the internet I would have some friends now and not talk to cels all day (I like you guys tho, this applies to you too when you’re talking to me).
With bp going relatively mainstream everybody just thinks about that and it’s gonna get even worse, sure there’s nothing wrong with trying to look good and maximize your potential in puberty but everybody just compares themselves to models OR EVEN call some of their features chopped. I just wish I was born many years years ago, looks were still somewhat important but with the internet not existing people wouldn’t fucking look at chads and Stacies all day (most of them are probably frauding anyways) so their standards were healthy, maybe they didn’t even find their partner all that but they would still love them, nowadays people just want this and that in their partner when they’re not even that and this. There’s no escape it’s going to get even worse

What Can You Do to Clarify?

  • Ask in context: “Hey, what did you mean by ‘water’—typo or is that code for something?”

Interesting point of view.
However i think Looks always mattered unconsciously. Blackpill is just a way to put words & theories on it, and to make people realise consciously that looks matters.
It happens now because Internet is available worldwide so people can learn about it, and put on a word of "why" they didn't succeed in life/dating.

See for example : Women. Since the victorian era they got unconsciously told to look better, to be attractive. By the invention of make-up, King C Gillette marketing about shaving their body parts, the whole clothing, hairstyling, hairdressing & fitness era.

Before, men were attractive because they could provide so increasing offsprings quality of life & genes potential. Nowadays, with the sexual liberation & women in the workforce, men need to look extremely good because women will focus on men's looks, because having a stable job isn't enough to get laid.

Looks always mattered since the beginning of human race, both sexes unconsciously wanted to have the best offsprings

Yes, I didn’t say it didn’t matter just not this much. People told women to put some makeup on sure but they didn’t tell them that their infraorbitals were recessed

I think it's overexaggerated due to Tiktok.
If you looksmaxx to get the best option of a man, the standards aren't crazy, a lot of below average women are taken (sure not with chad, but still).

Remember that a lot of these guys trying to put down any girl with buzzwords are alsothose guys who can't get laid IRL so they prob have bad intentions by creating insecurities

Ofc, the ultimate point of the thread is that it’s basically impossible to leave bp behind because everybody is gonna know about it soon, not everyone will care but let’s be honest who doesn’t want to look good and have a good looking partner. So yes it’s over for me I need to get under the knives asap

Who actually spergs out about how ugly they are?? I feel like you have to be high estrogen or high cortisol for that. I obviously acknlowedge parts of the BP and I try and looksmaxx as much as I can but its about the same as working out or taking supplements, don't stress about this shit if you can't change it or if you're in the process of changing it.

If everyone knew about the BP the dating market would get easier

How though
the dating market is bad because women overestimate themselves and men don't take care of themselves and underestimate themselves. Notice how much edating goes down on here? BP levels the playing field.

Even if women get into this most of them won’t date their looksmatch, they just think they are gonna put makeup and be automatically better. Men are going to spirale down even more because bp affects them the most, if I was a guy it would be so much worse for me (and it’s bad right now)

I was like this some time ago I just thought looksmaxing for women was just doing ur makeup better and other basic stuff. Most of them are not willing to take fucking peptides or have surgery

All of the men I've seen take BP way less seriously than women, this is inherent because the majority of a womans SMV is looks while the majority of a mans SMV is status, money and defence capabilities

Status and money for men matter mostly when they hit 30. If you’re in your teens/young twenties looks are gonna matter more

I hear foids my age constantly talking about how they'll marry a rich guy
