human development continues way past 18, people think 18 is the end of development cause they only think of muh height and growth plates

yes your growth plates usually close at around 18, but hormonally you keep developing, male test production peaks naturally in the 20's, puberty doesn't end till 21, the brain doesn't finish developing till 24-25

Meta analyses evaluating thousands of adult men on pubmed including ( 18-21 ) do not report developmental suppression

And you can look up the meta analysis yourself on pubmed if you want I can even link them to you

NGL having done extensive research on the subject as being concerned with it I must agree with Milkjar, your hormonal development is not done until your mid 20s in most cases and that's why pharmacists have to prescribe it to you to make sure you don't perturb your sexual development, especially with duasteride.

But at the same time its effects on the hormones are lesser than during 14 to 17 yo, so it's a bit of a grey zone.

Hence why it should be low dose topical for maintenance, and avoid systemic absorption
