I always loved Gizmo, but I wanted Stripe to be my pet.

That day I was looking at the Gremlins in the Warner Brothers store, the IRA bomb went off, me and my mother had to run the fuck out of there.

The Warner Brothers refused to sell us a Gremlin that they used to have mounted on the wall.

They also said a Stripe Mogwai didn’t exist.

I found me a Mogwai. You can find any. Mogwai you want.

Used to wonder in that place alone when I was six, there was this space ship that was Marvin the Martian themed, and all the other kids used to play there, was really fun. Then everyone left, was just me and the security people, then I had to fuck off home.

They said I’d see the Gremlins the next day.

Was a great childhood, but sometimes lonely af. My best friends were all adults, and they had their own shit going on.
