I know I will get alot of "water" for this one, but my intention is not to reveal some sacred knowledge, it's just for sake of discussion.

Anyone who thinks they will be able to become Rich off of a specific skill or subject, know that you will never ever be the best unless you started young.

You will really never be the best at anything unless you started young, and I mean really young.
Me and my friends went through COUNTLESS areas. Maths, Chess, Medicine, Chemistry, Sharpshooting, Sports, Entertainment, Racing, even being a Mechanic, all the people in the top 25 started young.

Magnus Carlsen, regarded as the best chess player to ever live, started playing at age 5.

For Maths and Chess, usually 4-6
For stuff like Medicine, Chemistry, usually 16 [though this is because of highschool completion age]
For Sharpshooting, many at the top surprisingly started at 14, which is weirdly high, but lots started at age 9-12
For Sports, it was 9
For Entertainment, 8-16
Professional racing, 6 years old.

Sergei Martynov, regarded as the best sharpshooter to ever lived, started shooting at age 12.

Why is this important, isn't it obvious?

It should be said because theres alot of people on this forum, who believe that they are secretly gifted, and if they just TRIIIED they would completely shatter their competition. And they would succeed. And since it's just so plain and obvious that they would do so well, they shouldn't even bother.
Saying this out loud, the cope is obvious, but this way of thinking is more common on here than you'd think.
No, you will never be the best at anything, you've missed your chance to be the best at anything, the only thing you will ever be is in the top 1%, if you grind something for years and years.

Example of cope

you don't have to watch this video at all, trust me.

This video was quite brutal, because the reason why this "Hungrybox" person became the best Smash Melee player was because his father told him "You can be extremely good at something, but you will never ever be the best." and this was his way of proving dad wrong.

Uhh, fucking smash melee? :kekw:
If you find some niche thing like some fucking dead video game from 2001 and grind it for years and years methodically, sure, you can become the best. But you will never be the best at anything actually serious. And, if this player tried to become the best at any modern Smash Bros game, he would be knocked out of the park by the competition, and I know this without even knowing anything about the Smash Bros franchise.

EVEN MORE BRUTAL.
According to the video, In one of the tournaments before this Hungrybox guy became the absolute best, where they were known competitive Smash Melee players who were seen as the cream of the crop, they all got wiped out by some little kid who didn't even really play the game, and only went to the convention where the tournament was held for something different, and he left with the prize money.
Hard work, and pure autism, beaten by some kid's elite neuroplasticity and maybe even good genetics when it comes to playing video games.

So brutal.

TL;DR: Make your kid grind a specific subject for his entire childhood that he doesn't want to do so he grows up to hate you

i did you also are cherry picking,
Primož Roglič only switched to road cycling at 23 after being a ski jumper and still became an Olympic champion and multiple Grand Tour winner.
Anthony Joshua started boxing at 18 and became an Olympic gold medalist and heavyweight world champion, while Deontay Wilder started around 20 and became a heavyweight world champion.
Mira Potkonen didn't start boxing until 28 and still won two Olympic bronze medals.
Outside sports, Vera Wang entered fashion design at 40 after working in journalism, Alan Rickman only seriously pursued acting in his 30s and got his breakthrough at 42, and Colonel Sanders didn't build the KFC franchise until his 60s.
So yeah, starting late absolutely does not mean you've missed your window some people genuinely entered their field as adults and still reached the absolute top.

Ok, I will respond to your regurgitated GPT spiel

Ski jumping and cycling have alot of transferable skills. ALOT of transferable skills. Someone who is a master of ski jumping is very skilled in controlling their balance and their centre of mass, how to change the aerodynamics of your body to move quicker/in a more controlled way, and leg agility. Therefore, he technically did start at a young age.
He was not someone who just at 23 decided he was going to get into cycling. He was a gold medalist in a sport with extremely transferable skills to cycling who decided he was going to start cycling.

If you showed me some brick layer who started cycling at 23, then got a professional contract at 26, maybe I'd be inclined to believe your argument.

This "mira potkonen" person did not become the best at anything. She is not the best boxer to ever live, she is not the best boxer of her time. She became very renouned in Women's boxing. The fact that she managed to become one of the best when starting at 28 shows that this is a very unserious area of boxing compared to the men's part.

If tommorow she ended up having a match with Lawrence Okolie and won, maybe I'd be inclined to believe your argument.

According to google this vera wang person worked for vogue for 17 years? So she didn't start at 40..
This is also the age most fashion designers start, the "just left university" age. I doubt there is any substantial number of fashion designers who start before then. And if they do, they have rich parents, lol.

Also whenever I search up "best fashion designers", she doesn't pop up. Therefore she is not even the best, just someone who was succesful at it.

The others are heavyweight wrestlers. Not only were they never regarded as the best boxers, or heavyweight boxers, but heavyweight boxing is looked down upon for being determined by weight and height, rather than raw talent. I looked on some boxing forums and this is the consensus, that these "heavyweights" aren't the best, because they are carried by their height and strength, the winner is usually the bigger person, not the more talented/skilled person. Brutal, all genetics in the end.

I don't know why you are bringing up the KFC man, he did not become the best at anything either, he just became super rich when he was old, lol. What is he the best at? Business? Objectively no.

KFC man sold his store before it became the most popular, the rest of his life he kept announcing how much he hates KFC and how they ruined the recipe after he sold it, and how nobody should buy from there. I think they sued him, lol
If that's what you call the best, then i would hate to see the average
