This should be water in theory, yet I see this kind of behavior emitted a lot from users here. Or at the very least, its heavily implied they believe a relationship will come and save them from their mental issues.

If you don't have your mental health, social cues, and emotional intelligence in check before entering a relationship, you WILL end up getting dumped

A lot of people think there's someone out there who's going to save them and love them unconditionally and embrace all their flaws, unfortunately this will only happen in the deepest residues of Disneyland

Nobody is going to stick with you out of pity, because they see "potential" in you. Nobody wants to be dragged down.

Yes, looks are the hook but if you're not already the best version of yourself mentally don't even think about getting with someone
