Personality and confidence does matter, but blackpillers will act as if your looks steer the entire ship; they don’t.

If two people apply for a job:

One of them has an average resume, but incredibly strong connections

One of them had an elite resume, but incredibly poor connections

Who will get the job? The former. The truth is, women want a guy they can feel comfortable around. Most girls grow up receiving lots of attention, including unwanted attention from creeps (if you’re one of those girls and have any form of trauma from it, I suggest you seek help. My PMs are always open 🫶).

It sounds like a terrible example, but it really isn’t. This forum is trapped in the sense that you’re going to interact with most users eventually, one way or another. We see lots of people on here develop actual feelings for other people, because personality shines on this forum.

Girls simply just want a guy that will treat them human and make them feel comfortable. It was never about your face or your height, it was about the void in your heart that you never cared to patch up.

daily dose of copium (I still love ya tho)

Eh, being at least average is important bc then if you’re NT you can live a pretty normal life
I should’ve specified. Looks aren’t important to a degree. An average man who’s a good person will get married, have a family, live a hapoy life, etc.

It’s more equal I have been turned down by girls before for many reasons mostly because I am incredibly awkward to talk to and I’m sub 6’0 so those are some reasons LMAO. Looks definitely matter but if you have a solid personality and a good confidence you will definitely get more. Blaming everything on looks is cope and saying it doesn’t matter is also cope

No, the only reason you were turned down is lack of social skills, not height.

Very much height. I’m very much talkative and sociable but I lack some common sense when it comes to people so I struggle understanding others feelings which makes me a robot in a lot of situations but If I try hard enough I can grasp what people are feeling especially if they are strong emotions

engineering will end up 90% a high salary j*b with fixed salary. i want to make money with percentage
So do you think the engineering and business industries are the best ways to live a lavish lifestyle?
ehhh, depends , most girls are obsessed with tall guys, but not all, I personally like short kings too
Obsessed? No, it’s just a preference. Not a requirement.

whatever helps you tbh but only thing that matters is luck if you dont have it well thats unlucky no point in blaming your looks for sure tho but irl people really do first see how you look then what you do so yea doesnt work like that well usually if you decent looking its just incel rambling but if you lower than that you need status

Depends on the girl really there is a lot of height requirements but short guys aren’t crazy cooked they can still get girls

I understand what you mean, but also maybe look at it this way:

people only catch feelings here because, yes, they can’t see your face. they’re not making those instant judgments on looks. in real life it’s microexpressions, how you approach somebody, the first impression, and most importantly, how you look. online we wear masks so personality gets a chance. this cannot physically happen in a real life scenario. it wouldn’t play out the same. most people dont even give you the chance to show who you are if you dont pass the looks threshold. imagine having a great personality with a great face on top of it. that will always be better to people.

also, it means nothing because all of those relationships have yet to last and has all proven that it died out from boredom

and another point: i get what you were trying to say with the resume metaphor, but honestly id take someone with an elite resume and 0 connections over someone with an "average" one and many connections. average is just another word for replaceable and indistinguishable from the next person; basically just like anybody else you would come across. this has nothing to do with how you were trying to connect it back too looks, because my point is that what you thought would be a unanimous or obvious decision is clearly not.

interesting thread, though

Great reply, I have no response. You’re pretty spot on. I still stand by my take of looks not mattering to a degree, but I understand your perspective too.

Very well spoken

It's mostly numbers game and luck if you're not good-looking. If you don't socialize naturally, you have to push yourself making it unnatural and frustrating to feel.

If you're HTN, you can scoop up a gf in less than a week, with minimal effort.

But I appriciate the hope/cope boyo
