Good book to read in subjects of morality, ethics, metaphysics, epistemology & other subjects.

2) Determined: A Science of Life without Free Will

1000053091.webp

Great book on subjects like behaviourism, psychology, evolutionary biology, neurology, neuro-biology & few others.

3) The Political Theory of the American Founding: Natural Rights, Public Policy, and the Moral Conditions of Freedom

Great book to understand about origins of our Mordern Libertarian neoliberal hyper-individualistic capitalist world & also mordern judiciary.

Anyways I dont hate books and the 2nd one looks interesting
May read
2nd one is really brutal & blackpilled, it's not some oofy doofy psychology book about being vulnerable or "just be express yourself more bro", it discusses how ur being judged in milliseconds and ur character barely matters since nobody is going in that depth, people will see u and judge u if ur a f****t or a smartass just by ur facial ratios.

Sounds more interesting than cucked bluepilled bullshit telling you to be confident although there is some merit in that, especially when you want to achieve something
There needs to be a balance between your ego and reality but I find arrogance to be a better trait than being a pussy

People won't tolerate ur arrogance if ur short & ugly, it's always better to be kind no matter how good looking or privileged u are. Book 1 is pretty great too, it's really surprising how blackpilled Lord Buddha was in times when people think that everything is happening to them is result of their good or bad deeds in their previous birth.

Arrogance as in being bold and believing that you will succeed whether you can back it up or not
Obviously kindness will be best in social situations, but you have to be bold to your own goals
What is the main idea of the first book?

Not the correct definition of arrogance, i interpret arrogance as being cocky, what u discribed was being confident. Remember confidence is internal, u don't rely on other's for being confident while arrogance is comparitive & not internal, u put other's down or consider inferior when u are being arrogant. Since confidence is internal than it's not reliant on other's but when an arrogant person sees someone whom he doesn't considers inferior, arrogance shatters.

1st book is an anthology of Theravada Buddhism & Buddha's word. It's the crux of teachings of Tipitakas in 500 pages, (Tipitakas are massive buddhist texts, around 30,000 scolls). So that's one single book is enough to learn about the earliest blackpilled discourses of humanity even b4 blackpill was a thing. I've mentioned the subjects it deals with.

I js used the term arrogance because confidence is something that can be backed up yk incorrect vocabulary maybe
The book sounds quite interesting although im not usually a fan of blackpilled content

I used blackpilled as a metaphor for raw truth & no oofy doofy bluepilled discoursed about life being butterflies & sunshine. Books are not inherently negative, they just tell things for how they are with raw truth & logical reasoning.

Yh, do read them, I just my top 3 pick after reading 447 books, so these are definitely must reads.
447 books! 🫪 I’ve probably read like 100 in my life, I need to get back into reading, so I’ll definitely try source some of these books, which one would you recommend the most?

That's great, what do u read ? I only mentioned non fiction books. I also read non fiction novels, manga/manhwa/Manhua, LightNovels, comics but I generally don't include them in my book count.
so I’ll definitely try source some of these books,
Just get PDFs online, ur saving both trees & ur money with it and it's Always convinient to open ur phone and read than to carry a 600 page book.

The books i mentioned in thread deals with nearly all subjects & field of study. But if u want to dive deeper in any subject like logic, ethics, reasoning, deduction & dissection, morality, jurisprudence, history, behaviourism, psychology & neuro-biology or even fiction, u can specify the subject and I'll suggest u the best book to read on it.

I actually wanted to read determined, is it any good?
Yes, it's really great and blackpilled. It's not a typical behaviourism, psychology or neuro-biology book, it doesn't shows nature as butterflies and sunshine, it shows nature for what it actually is.

It's a must read.

Arrogance is the believe that you're inheritly better. This can show through the way you act. Arrogance is having a sense of superiority and entitlement. Socrates often shows arrogance in the way he debates.

Confidence can work because it can create the illusion of you having something you don't really have. Making yourself seem better by acting like you're better. If its really obvious that you're not what you believe you are you are perceived as cocky. If you're under confident people are also going to perceived you that way. Cocky is more so an obvious over confidence.

Controlled confidence, kindness and optimism would be optimal for social situations.

p.s.Ordered the first book btw. Gonna read it tonight.
