5 months into dermatologist treatment and my skin still isn't improving. Looking for honest advice.

Hi everyone.

I've been following a dermatologist-prescribed skincare routine for around 5 months by now. She has adjusted my routine a few times, but honestly I'm getting discouraged because my skin doesn't seem to be improving. I know "glass skin" isn't a realistic expectation, but I feel like my skin actually looks worse than I expected after several months of treatment.
The only time I felt my skin ever looked good was when I was taking isotretinoin. Once stopping it, my acne slowly came back. Right now my psychiatrist has advised against taking isotretinoin because I'm on psychiatric medication, so I guess it isn't really an option at the moment, even tho I feel like maybe there is some meds that are not really bad to take with the isotretinoin, I just don't want to take it for the rest of my life for all the secondary effects, I mean, is it really that bad?
I'm also a college student making about 25 bucks a day, so I can't afford expensive treatments, even tho im saving to buy reta one day.
Well, this is my routine, hope you can help me out and give some honest advice, thank you!

Maybe you could send a close up picture of the acne on your forhead but some of it might be fungal acne? Which a lot of dermatologist seem to look over. I had issues with a weird texture and cleared it with Nizoral when i learned it was fungal.

reta doesnt do anything for skin jst order tret or accutane from indiamart or alldaychemist

You're genuinely raping your skin no wonder

Drop the am routine completely and for pm just use a cleanser + toner + retinoid + moisturiser
hahahaha yezz that's what I was missing, okay I´ll do that for now, see if I can see any difference
