Accutane Tips

Hopped on accutane about a week ago, was just wondering if you guys had any tips on how to supplement/exist with it. Lips and nose are dry as fuck now and I feel like I'm breaking out even worse than before (though I heard this was part of a "purging period").

Any advice helps.

Use light skincare. Just use cleanser + moisturiser once a day along with vaseline for lips

Yeah that's what my derm told me to do so I've just been on that. Vaseline works for the inside of the nose, right? I'm getting very frequent nosebleeds and I suspect that's the result of dry California air+accutane drying it out.

Yeah you can. You could also see if you could get prescribed with something for that too. I've got eczema and got prescribed an ointment for it, I'm assuming that would also help in this case

I just got a dog and been getting allergic reactions to her so I also just got an eczema cream prescribed. You reckon that would help with my lips too or just the nose?

I'm not sure you could look into it though. Definitely use for nose

Also depends if it's steroid cream or just ointment. Steroid cream would be a no go
