acne clearing up

i had awful acne for 11 years and went to multiple dermatologists and nothing ever worked. then i started birth control 1.5 months ago and my acne is 95% cleared SO much money wasted on expensive korean skincare lolll (i mean i still use it and it helps to an extent but damn)

also i hate the ppl that told me to just “wash my face” even more now lmfao it was my goddamn hormones

i know it sounds dumb but that’s genuinely the only thing i never tried just because i had a close friend who used accutane and got these awful red bumps all over her arms and face (not acne just bumps?) that never went away even to this day and that terrified me loll

also, birth control for acne isn’t necessarily a new method. women have been using it for years for acne i just put it off until now because i was trying so many other things first

Well accutane can be low dosed and still work and if birth control works for someone reason at least it works so that’s good

yeah if birth control didn’t work i was gonna low dose accutane and hope for the best but i’m glad this just worked haha

thanks! personally i’ve lost weight but that’s cuz i’ve been exercising more. i guess i’ve been craving sweets more but if i do give in i just only eat a little bit so i’ve been fine lol
