So everytime I put my tongue on the roof of my mouth and apply somewhat force,my chin kinda disappears/looks recessed. It doesn’t when I don’t Mew though

You mean, you pull your jaw slightly back, just to make it easier?

I'm pretty sure it's the right way then, as long as your molars still touch each other, lips are sealed and the entire tongue is on the roof of the mouth. I pull my jaw slightly back as well. I think it's fine. You should be good to go.
