I Keep feeling my greedy traps on lateral raises

Try doing them less upright or lower the weight. Maybe dont go full RoM since half reps mog hard

just make sure your tendons are strong enough so that if you do a full rep(or slightly hyperextended rep) you don't tear ur shit

I'm getting back into lifting now but I used to be into it when I played sports.

I use 10 pound dumbells ill try this

This happens a lot. Just make sure to keep your shoulders down and away from your ears. Try lifting with your elbows instead of your hands to hit the delts better. A quick pause at the top can help you feel it more in your shoulders. Also focus on mind muscle connection.

it works still my traps take alot of stress

I think the opposite is better so you lean the opposite way. I do it on an incline bench. Kinda hard to describe
