any good workouts to flatten stomach?

I want to drop some weight there, it's not bad but it does poke out. a bunch of core workouts I'm seeing totally get rid of your hourglass though and I hate that idea
You can’t spot reduce fat, so if you want to lose weight in your stomach you’d have to lose weight overall/lower your body fat percentage. Core workouts will just help you build abs/burn calories in general, which is helpful for body recomping and aesthetics actually so I would still recommend them, but the one you’re mentioning that builds a “boxier” look are those that target the obliques so you want to find one that doesn’t specifically. Some good core workouts are hollow body holds and butterfly kicks (which you can combine with crunches). Abs you can typically train with just bodyweight but there are always gym ab machines or just add ankle weights for resistance. Fat on stomach can also be cause of bloating sometimes too tho btw

yeah I think I have a bit of excess body fat, my bmi is like 20 something iirc I want it to go down to 19 something. my posture is bad so it all kind of collects at my lower abdomen lol

sucks that I can't spot reduce :-( I'll stick to deficit, cardio for calorie burning, and light ab workouts I guess

Don’t starve yourself and eat high protein too, it’s also possible to body recomp at maintenance as well btw. Oftentimes if you do resistance training you won’t need much cardio on top of it since it also burns calories itself

yeah I eat a lot of meat based stuff anyways because I'm picky, I need to stop caving on sweet treats tho

God damn sissy snowflakes cant handle a bit of fasting here and there
Fasting is different from starving, I used to be overweight actually and I lost 50 lbs by doing OMAD so a 23:1 fast but I still wasn’t starving myself since I counted calories and made sure I got 1,200 in that one meal

Youd be 6 feet down in an hour
yeah not effective, healthy, or optimal. I don’t understand why people feel the need to rush weight loss so much tbh

Its optimal at 200mg if youre in a cold environment
Keeping a ryanodine inhibitor on hand would also help
I think its quite safe in the correct conditions

bmi 20
23 inches

stomach vacuums
deep core work
fasting
daily cardio
pilates

Try 3 sets of fork drops
Each with 10 reps of laying down the fork
I'm already quite thin I just want to lose a little more, I'm 5'9 and 135.5lbs last I checked
I've been doing 1800 cal/day give or take and have started doing cardio at the gym, also I now have a job where I'm on my feet a lot so we'll see where this takes me

how much is your caloric maintenance?

it says 2000/day if I do 2-3 days a week of exercise this gotta be bullshit
It's not
1800 cals should be fine for you then
not if u wanna lose 5lbs asap tho

it's fine as long as I don't look like a whale in my new swimsuit tbh
it's one of very few two-pieces that I own and I'm scared to go out in it
I'm a huge prude lmfao

Yeah unless you’re active it’s unlikely 1,800 calories is a deficit, it could be maintenance or even high (probably maintenance). can’t believe you just picked a random number without even checking

I'm super modest basically
not the type to judge others for wearing bikinis or anything I just feel really weird if I'm not covered up
I felt like a slut the first time I wore a tank top
