No I wouldn't recommend tbh

I do some light thumb pulling actually.

Here is what I also do.

I usually study while I lay down on my stomach on my bed.
At the very end of my bed, I place my head facing towards the ground.

On the ground I place my book.
Then I mew with the tip of my tongue placed unto the very front part of my palate/maxilla.

So my tongue, as a result of gravity is literally hanging down, but pushing my maxilla downwards in this position.
Whereas in reality, it is being pushed forwards.
And for real I can feel my maxilla after that.

I think some guy on lookism shared this first and got good results. I feel like he s legit. Using gravity to move your maxilla forward will have a long term effect. i find it worth giving a try.

for how much time do you do this ? i think the principle makes sense, but i also believe you'd need to do this for several hours a day to have considerably effects aka stay all day with your face facing the ground

I do this for only 2 hours. Yes, I should be doing this for more hours to let it work.
But it still helps and I maintain it's results through proper tongue posture the rest of the day.

Should you have the whole tongue pushing the maxilla forwards? Youre saying like gravity wont affect your maxilla?
Yes whole tongue
Posterior third is just the most important

Couldn’t you just lay flat face first on the floor? Would be easier
