Not trying to lose weight just trying to eat the most optimal foods for my body. So raw veggies, meat and some nuts are all I should eat

Yes. I'd say do 50-50 of that.
But don't eat other junk foods containing sugars.

If you really want to eat something for desert, eat a small portion of a fruit. But i'd say avoid sugary foods.
