The idea that bonesmashing can increase the size of the bones through 'Wolffs Law' is just false.
Now i'm not saying that you can't increase the percieved projection from the bone as this is entierely possible, however just through a different process. - Fibrosis, now you may have heard of this term being thrown around all over.
But I will clear up exactly how this works,
What is fibrosis?
Fibrosis is the buildup of tough, dense connective tissues, - mostly collagen on a tissue.
Now in relation to bones, Fibrosis is the chronic thickening of the outer membrane that protects the bone. This occurs due to chronic inflamation (not allowing the tissue time to heal.) This forces the body to permanently overproduce disorganised collagen on the affected impact site.
A overview of fibrosis in relation to bonesmashing:
Now when bonesmashing, practically all bones in the face virtually has no protective muscle padding over the bone. This means the force of the bonesmashing tool ,- whether that be hammer or fists or any blunt object, this force directly crushes the periosteum against the bone. This causes microscopic tearing, bleeding, and localized cell death in the impact area. This damaged tissue sends signals to the body, forcing the body to release TGF-β (Transforming growth factor-beta) and oxygen molecules.
Because the trauma is repeated consistently without rest. The inflamation is chronic and not allowed to heal. The constant signalling of the TGF-β force the resting cells inside the periosteum to permanently change into myofibroblasts. --> essentially the cells responsible for building the permanent collagen fibers over the bone leading to the 'percieved' increase in projection whether that be in zygos, browridge, chin etc.
The myofibroblasts shield the injured bone and tissue, and rapidly create and dump raw collagen directly on to the outer surface of the bone.
An enzyme called lysyl oxidase weaves the overlapping collagen fibres together. however due to the consistent force applied onto the inflamation site the colalgen fibres aren't streched into a flexible pattern, instead the collagen fibres freeze and tangle. Permanence is now achieved, which essentially means the the tissue has gone from a temporary swelling into a permanent structural change
Finally, the newly formed clump of collagen fibres restrict its own blood vessels, making a low-oxygen state which traps the tissue into a loop. The final result is a hard, puffy, soft-tissue callus over the bone which closely resembles bone mass.
Now the science behind it is explained, I will now explain how to decrease time taken for fibrosis:

Supplements:
- Vitamin C - supercharges prolyl and lysyl hydroxylase enzymes, increasing speed of synthesis and the stabilisation of the raw collagen.
- L-Glutamine - fuels mTOR signaling pathway, which provides the metabolic energy for the fibroblasts to multiply and survive.
- L-Proline - primary amino acid making up roughly 10% of the physical sequence of collagen fibers.
- L-Glycine - most critical amino acid block to allow tight packing of the scar tissue.
- Zinc - The cells need zinc in order to read and duplicate the instructions to build new tissue
- Copper - activates lysyl oxidase which ties the collagen fibres together into scar-tisue.
- Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β) - Primary communicator which commands normal tissues to convert into myofibroblasts.
If supplements taken this theoretically should dcrease time taken for the whole fibrosis process to happen. Which means faster noticable "bone projection" Thats all from me
